Basehor-Linwood High School Field House

The Basehor-Linwood High School 35-Yard Indoor Complex provides Bobcat athletes with a year-round space designed for high-level training, skill development, and team preparation.

Featuring a full 35-yard indoor turf field, custom Bobcat wall padding, and innovative Grand Slam batting cages, the facility combines versatility, safety, and performance in one dedicated training environment.

The facility’s Grand Slam batting cage system is designed to maximize the use of the entire indoor space. Unlike traditional batting cages, the frameless Grand Slam System electrically raises the net from the floor to the ceiling in less than two minutes, allowing coaches and athletes to quickly transition between batting practice and full-field training. The system operates with a simple single-key control and can be customized to the building’s dimensions.

When the cages are deployed, athletes have a dedicated environment for baseball and softball hitting, throwing, fielding, and position-specific work. When the nets are raised, the facility opens back up to provide valuable space for team practices, conditioning, football, and other athletic training.

With its combination of 35 yards of indoor turf, custom wall protection, and rapidly retractable batting cages, the complex gives Basehor-Linwood student-athletes a flexible training environment that can be used throughout the year—regardless of weather.
